A Fall day, a harvest festival, some good times....

It was a chilly fall day at the E. Setauket Harvest Festival today. The sun finally warmed things up
later in the day and a good time was had by all.
A big thanks to everyone
who stopped by and picked up our local honey. bee pollen and
all the other 'products of the hive' we had available on our table.
See everyone at the next market, maybe the Port Jeff Winter Indoor Farmers Market
which starts later this month on Sunday mornings!

Fall Organization in the Bee Yard

A chill is in the air and it's time to start getting things organized for
the cold weather that's sure to come. We got a chance to
inventory and inspect some of our bee equipment so we
can make our plans for 2016.
The cold days of Winter are a great time to get busy in the
shop fixing the older stuff and building new stuff.
Of course we try to be ready for the 1st. nice days of Spring
but somehow always fall behind schedule.
Oh well.
